Introduction
Tramontano Consulting Limited commenced in September 2017. Alfonzo Tramontano (Company Director) is an experienced Board level Chief Nurse with over 38 years of continuous NHS experience within the acute hospital setting, NHS England and a Commissioning Support Unit. He was also a successful General Manager in an acute trust for 8 years. Educated to Masters level, NMC registered, with a proven commitment to continuous professional development. Alfonzo has excellent inter personal, written and oral communication skills provide the means to relate to people at all levels and from different disciplines. Alfonzo has a reputation for delivering against targets, a methodical, organised leader who is unafraid to lead change to enable value for money and quality improvement. Utilising senior clinical knowledge and general management skills to deliver cost savings (CIP) and quality improvements using a collaborative approach. Alfonzo is available to book direct or via a number of well established executive agency providers.
Cost Improvement Development and Delivery
Alfonzo has a vast experience of delivering cost improvements first hand as a General Manager, Executive Director and through multiple assignments as a consultant. He uses this vast experience as a management consultant delivering CIP. An executive chief nurse, senior clinician with Acute hospital, CSU and NHS England experience with the ability and experience to interact successfully with senior clinical staff to develop and deliver successful cost improvement programs.
Clinical Review and Quality Improvement
As an experienced executive chief nurse, director of infection control, Clinical governance lead, SIRO and Cauldicott Guardian, Alfonzo is well equipped to lead any clinical, quality review required. He has undertaken consultant assignments focusing on Theatre Improvement  and out patient improvement. He has multiple experience of creating business cases to support quality improvements, including Acute bed reconfiguration and expansion, Cardiac suite implementation etc.
Medical Job Plan Reviews
Alfonzo has first hand experience of implementing the medical consultant contract within an acute and has numerous years of experience first hand undertaking modelling of consultant job plans to match contractual demand. He has undertaken various consultant assignments reviewing medical job plans, and medical rotas, adjusting them to ensure contractual demands are met and value for money is obtained.
